Who I am and how DOTTA came to be

Hi, I'm Ondřej – a trained musician and a working programmer. I studied early music at an academy in Lyon, France. These days I live in Prague, make a living writing code, and play concerts for fun.

I'd always liked tennis and other sports, but then some colleagues and I started playing padel, and it hooked me completely. We've been playing every week for over a year now. The problem was keeping score – we kept arguing about it, and it slowed the game down. One day, after yet another argument over a match, I decided to buy a score counter. To my surprise, nothing nice, functional and modern existed. So DOTTA was born – I decided I'd just build it myself.

I got to work – modelling, hunting down the right technology, materials and design, programming the app and the shop, taking photos – and voilà, within a year DOTTA is here for everyone who wants to enjoy their sport just a little bit more :-)
