We make the DOTTA clicker by hand and we stand behind it for 10 years. Here is exactly what that means — no asterisks.
What the warranty covers
Anything that keeps the clicker from working as it should: a button that won't switch, a broken internal connection, a clicker that stopped pairing with the app, a cracked body. We repair it or replace it with a new one — free, for a full 10 years from takeover.
What if it was your own fault
Run over by a car, stepped on, drowned in the pool? Send it in anyway. For a 499 Kč≈21 € handling fee, which also covers the trip back to you, we repair or replace a clicker you destroyed yourself — as long as the damage stopped it working.
What it does not cover
A clicker that still works — the warranty is about things that stopped working, not about trading up to a newer unit. Also one you lost or had stolen (we need something to replace), the CR1620 battery and the O-rings (consumables), scuffs and fading that don't affect function, and a defect whose cause can no longer be assessed because someone got into the electronics. Changing the battery is not that — the clicker is built for it.
Who can claim it
Anyone who owns the clicker. The warranty is tied to the device, not to you, so it passes to the next owner. All it takes is proof of purchase — an order number, an invoice or a payment receipt.
Who pays the postage
A repair or replacement for a failure is always free — in year ten as much as in year one. For the first 2 years we pay both ways; from the third year the sender pays the trip to us and we always pay the trip back. The handling fee applies only to damage you caused yourself, but then for the whole term; delivery to you is already in it.
How to claim it
Write to info@dotta.store — what happened, plus your order number or proof of purchase. We'll tell you where to send the clicker and settle the claim within 30 days at the latest.

The lifetime warranty is voluntary and goes beyond the law. Your statutory rights from defective performance — including the right to raise a defect within two years of takeover and have it remedied free of charge — remain untouched, and you can exercise them alongside the warranty.
